I just bought my house in Manassas and didn't realize the extent of water damage and leaky pipes under the kitchen sink till I had water running out of the finished basement wall. I tried calling multiple handymen in the area and they were either too busy or wanted me to pay for an estimate. I finally called Handyman to the Rescue and left a message. Mark promptly called back and once I explained the situation, he made arraignments to make it out the next morning for an estimate. The next morning, he was at the house when he said he would be and took the time to be thorough in his estimate. For the work that needed to be done Mark's estimate was more than fair and I hired him on the spot - he even provided an emailed invoice of all the work. He repaired the cabinet under the kitchen sink, including the leaks in both the supply and waste lines, he also put in new line valves and replaced the garbage disposal. He arrived early in the morning and was done by noon all while staying within his estimated price. His work and work ethic were both top-notch.

Mark repaired and replaced the exterior trim around the backside of my townhome and did a phenomenal job. Mark took his time to make sure everything looked perfect. Mark is extremely fair in his pricing and goes above and beyond. Will definitely hire Mark in the future.

I used Mark to complete some extended work on my front porch and roof, which included power washing the house, replacing the columns and lattices, replacing rotted wood on the porch and roof, and painting. Mark's estimate was exceptionally reasonable. Mark showed up on time, worked hard and tirelessly in the heat, took the extra time to explain everything to me, cleaned up behind himself, and finished the job in compliance with the HOA and way beyond my satisfaction. Mark also did quite a bit of extra stuff that he did not have to do. I highly recommend Mark to do any type of contracting work. He is professional, honest, and dependable.

In July 2020 I used Handyman to the Rescue's services for roof repair because I was having leaks in multiple places. Thanks to Mark I no longer have leaks! Prior to using his company, I had 4 other Handyman services out to fix the problem to no avail. He knew immediately what the problem was!
In August 2021 I had him replace a rotted deck post.
Mark is a very knowledgeable contractor and a perfectionist. He does not cut corners. He does not try to talk you into having extra work performed.
I have used Mark's services twice and could not have been happier with the outcome! Not only is he thorough beyond belief but he's ALWAYS on time and is ALL ABOUT WORK!
Mark's prices are competitive but even if you feel his quotes maybe a little high, believe me, his expertise is so worth it!!! My friend found Mark through his website and was so happy with his skills that I just had to have him!
Handyman to the Rescue is a Godsend!

Mark has replaced the toilet, vanity, lights, and mirrors in my basement bathroom. He also repaired the walls and painted them. Then he added additional recessed lighting in the basement and painted the walls and trim. He spent a great deal of time cleaning and prepping to provide a quality job. He arrived on time every day and worked tirelessly each time he was here. He has kept me apprised of his work at each step to be sure that I am satisfied. It is great to have someone who takes pride in his work.
